This petition is to move Flag Day back to June. Flag Day is a tradition that goes back to my earliest of childhood memories. Celebrating Flag Day (IN THE SUMMER) is what being a Woburnite is all about! 

EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. I have talked to about Flag Day being moved to October doesn't understand why it was moved in the first place. 

Having Flag Day in Oct is like celebrating the 4th of July in December. It just doesn't make any sense! We might as well move the Halloween parade to August. 

It is my hope that this petition will spread like wildfire across the Woburn Residents page like the sounds of BOOMS from the sky above! Let's MAKE FLAG DAY GREAT AGAIN by moving it back in 2023 to it's rightful place...summertime!
