Most Kiski Area students strongly believe in bringing back the Day C into our school’s schedule. Day C, despite its few downfalls was a day that students were able to catch up on work from throughout the week, helped students always know which schedule to follow each day, and ensured we all saw each teacher before the weekend. Without this addition to our schedules this brings on a potential to not see some teachers for up to 4 days because of the weekend, and is impacting most of the working students who participate in not only work release but also sports/activities. Testing this new schedule out for one singular year never allowed it to reach its full potential and we believe it should be given another chance. Lastly, students were never notified about this sudden change directly from the school unless they personally asked, so many are under the impression Day C is still existent and based their work/sports/other activities schedules around just that.
