As most patents will know, its hard enough having to park and walk your children to and from school, however, what is making the situation harder is that there are no zebra crossings or person patrol on or near Welbeck Road and crossing to/from the doctors. 

I, as a parent (and im sure most of you feel the same) think that this is an accident waiting to happen!

We have to rely on courtesy from vehicles using the road to cross, and as I experienced this morning, although one side is signalling you across, a vehicle on the opposite side will come zooming round the corner and have to brake hard as your already half way across the road.

There is also, when vehicles are parked up opposite the doctors and your wanting to cross, you have to step out into the road to see if a vehicle is coming.

The road itself, compared to a few years ago has become extreamly busy due to the additional housing being built nearby, and although the larger vehicles will only be using the road until construction has finished, it is currently even more dangerous now.

Im hoping to achieve signatures so I can take my complaint to the council so if you would kindly sign this, it would be greatly appreciated.
