Already, within a week of the full return to campus, we’ve been seeing a spike in COVID-19 cases. Currently, admin only offers free testing to students with confirmed exposures. This is a dangerous policy that is endangering every member of the student body. If we want any form of “return to normal,” we must do so with active and informed data in regards to the number of COVID cases on campus. Not having testing is dangerous and puts all students, but especially students with pre-existing health conditions, at risk. As students, we must demand a return of required testing on at least a weekly basis for the health of every single person on campus.
