Community radio is traditionally a volunteer based operation, and it is common practise for programs like Tuesdaily to pay "airfees" These fees range from a few dollars to $22 per hour at the higher end of what community radio stations charge.

Airfees that the hosts of your favourite programs on SWR 99.9 FM are $22 per hour.

At Tuesdaily, we believe about giving back to the community for no financial gain. This is why we have engaged in giveaways, competitions, callout hotlines, and more. Every new venture we embark on during our program is non-commercial and costs us ongoingly to continue.

The Office at SWR 99.9 FM has decided that even after 3 years of broadcasting and always following through with our payments, we are suspended from broadcasting effective immediantly with no grace period, until we can pay a large chunk of our airfees invoice (which is over 6 months worth)

We are volunteers, who work outside of SWR and do not make and money from SWR 99.9 FM. At the time of writing, we cannot afford to pay this large sum of money upfront, however we will be able to before the rest of the invoice is due later this year.

Unfortunatelty the office at SWR decided that they do not trust us, even after this being the third year of broadcasting, and the second of Tuesdaily.

Today marks the first week without a Tuesdaily Show in the last 19 months.
