The Pueblo East High School Concert Band is saddened by the recent news of Tony Trujillo stepping down from his position as the beloved Jazz band bassist. The Section Leader and Morale Officer was out in a difficult spot due to the weight of the responsibilities coming from Jazz 1 and ProStart. According to his solemn message written and posted Monday afternoon, Tony's mental health is taking a toll because of his involvement in both classes and decided it could not go on. As much as we care for and are concerned about him, the community knows the band program is not whole without Tony. Pueblo East wants to make it work for Mr. Morale, so help us bring him back!!
