We are asking for you to support our Naíonra and Afterschool as we request SDCC to repair and reopen the Lucan Leisure Centre as soon as possible.

The Lucan Leisure Centre has been our home for over 10 years and we have looked after many of the wonderful families living in Lucan.

We need to receive confirmation that The Naíonra and The Afterschool along with all the other valuable clubs that have used the Leisure Centre can return.

With a further delay to the new swimming pool and no concrete completion date it is even more imperative that the existing Leisure Centre is repaired and reopened as a matter of urgency. Lucan badly needs the return of the facilities and services this centre has provided for so many years. 

It was the people of Lucan that built the existing Leisure Centre and fought so hard for this pool to be built. Therefore, it is crucial that it remains a community facility and not be privately run for private gain!!
