Years ago, SRVUSD used to serve tater tots in the lunchrooms. Every week, tater tot day was the most glorious day of my little nine-year-old life. Biting into the crunchy golden layer to expose the pillowy potato perfection within was a transcendent experience like no other. But one day they stopped serving tots. It was heartbreaking.
