Governor Baker of Massachusetts has taken a firm stance against remote learning, despite the dramatic surge of Omicron in our state. Our state is only getting sicker regardless of vaccinations and COVID prevention procedures. Both students and teachers know that it would be dangerous to remain in school and put ourselves and our families at risk. However, the state government has ignored us and calls from The American Federation of Teachers Massachusetts to go remote. Notwithstanding the known tolls of remote learning, our health should be a priority. Support this petition and let Governor Baker know that we want to go remote.
