Bring back real trees on Magdalen Road
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
In November 2006 nine London Plane trees were felled without consultation on Magdalen Road between Multon Road & Titchwell Road to appease the threat of legal action (at that time) from the tennis club.
The Council replaced the trees with boxed saplings which, despite several replacements, have proved a total failure.
We are campaigning for the Council to reinstate ground planted London Plane trees in keeping with the rest of the road and as originally planted, but with modern methods to prevent root damage.
We are very grateful of your support in restoring our road to it's former health and beauty!
