A hoodie shouldn't determine if you're going to go school or not especially SCHOOL hoodies. It has been the second day of school and people are already getting their hoodies tooken away because it is "mandatory". This had never happened last year and all of a sudden it's happening this year? The reason they took away hoodies was because it was hard to "identify" the student. How is a hoodie going to stop someone from identification? It is not fair that just because 1% of the school is wearing hoodies to hide their airpods the rest of the school has to deal with it. Some students have financial problems and sometimes all they have in their closet is a black hoodie. This isn't a third world country, this is boyle heights where you as a school specifically directed at low income Hispanic communities are supposed to help students get the education they deserve instead of turning down students over a hoodie, do better.piling up our clothes with other peoples isnt as "covid safe" as it seems one doesn't know whether or not a student has covid but is still choosing to attend school and putting our personal items in piles with others isn't safe. The school is worrying more about what color sweater students are wearing rather than checking how many students are wearing masks because 20% of the school isn't wearing masks when it's mandatory. 

if the school really wants us to wear the uniform then the staff should also be obligated to wear uniform they should "set the example" of what a great scholar looks likes.
