The City of Fort Dodge recently announced they would be discontinuing Junk Days, a popular program that allows people to set junk on the curb on four separate evenings for pick up the next day.  Pickers then often go out and see what treasures they can rescue for reuse or recycling.  The program was extremely popular, but a small portion of the city government took issue with the program and discontinued it.  

Knowing how popular this program is, many citizens want it to come back.  Therefore, we propose that the city reinstate spring clean up days as previously held.  If the city wishes to continue the On Demand after the traditional program is over, that's fine.  But the citizens want their traditional program reinstated so that everyone can benefit from junk removal in their homes.
