HouseParty or HP was an app developed by Epic Games focused on creating a community perfect for meeting new friends. And that mission was extremely successful. Millions of people met millions of new friends using the app, from mid 2016 to late 2021. As someone who met a few hundred new people on HP, I am very disappointed due to the fact it was shut down. HouseParty was discontinued in October of 2021, destroying a beautiful community of wonderful people. The reason behind the discontinuation was that the app was "Financially sustainable." But in my opinion, and many others, Epic Games has quite a bit of money to spend on its community, instead of shutting the platform down out of greed. Please help bring this wonderful app/platform back. The community misses it. I miss it.
