The people, especially children, in Wilmington, NC, more specifically in the Mayfaire/Porter's Neck area are being let down. Froyo industry was thriving in the early 2010s and now we, as generation, have watched it dwindle down and down going almost extinct. Living in the Porter's Neck area used to be paradise for frozen yogurt lovers, with a Fuzzy Peach location near Harris Teeter, and across the street at Brrberry. Not only that but also a BrrBerry in Mayfaire and the old Orange Leaf, we used to enjoy. Now, in 2022, all locations have closed leaving the people stranded with no froyo access except for a nearly 30 minute drive. In these troubled times of recovery, the beautiful froyo environment is crucial to our community and boosting morale. The perfect investment would be a froyo place in this exact area, as it's a time of growth in the Wilmington area, especially here with the new hotel and developments.  It's obvious that the community has been let down as no one can experience the beautiful filling of their own cup and adding all their favorite toppings. I personally will work at a place like this, surrounded by neighborhoods it would serve as a perfect job opportunity for young teens. Please! People simply cannot afford the drive across town, bring froyo back from its death!
