At the 13th of April, 2022, Disney shuts down Club Penguin Rewritten.

Club Penguin Rewritten was a remake of the original Disney game "Club Penguin" and the game shuts down, due to request from Disney and the website is voluntarily handed over to the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit. The team was accused of profitable ads and stolen credits of the original creator.

We need to do something as a community, as the Club Penguin Administators gave as back the game we so much loved and so as the chance to relive our pure childhood days. 

The reason behind the shutting down is nonsense. The team had no bad intentions, in creating the game itself. Disney has no reasons to ask for credits back, as the game wasn't in their possession anymore, let alone in HTML5 version. We owe a big thank you to the team for dedicating a lot of time and love, working on the game for a whole of 5 years. This is the least we could do.

So, people, if you would like to help the team, by our voice as a community, please make an effort and sign this petition. I am sure we can all contribute to the re-opening of the game we all loved and cherished.
