Traditionally, the RRCSD has provided an opportunity for its students to attend an approved curriculum 3-day, 2-night camp experience. The school administration has decided to cancel this opportunity for no clear reason and without any discussion with the parents or school board. Research has shown that camp trips are beneficial to students for several reasons. I think we can all agree that our students could use some time learning outside the classroom, while enjoying time away from the stress of social media and technology. Please sign my petition to show support for reinstating an overnight camp trip for the students of RRCSD.
