Apple exposure notifications are essential to combatting COVID. People can react accordingly and help prevent the spread of COVID once their notified of exposure. The notifications are optional based on what the user chooses, and the user can choose to upload a positive test. But all users remain anonymous, meaning the person who is exposed or tested positive is anonymous.
