Why this petition matters

Started by Musheerah Kirmani

On June 10, 2022, in a grade 11 chemistry class, a crime was committed. The teacher, rather the dictator, of this class chose to give his class a work period. Four girls, located in the back of the class, understood before hand that none of them worked well in school. They preferred the comfort of their home. However, they still wanted to use their time effectively and decided to converse with each other. Not only would this be enjoyable, but it would also be beneficial for their mental health. They had a good time for approximately 30 minutes until one girl, out of genuine curiosity, asked Abby if her henna was too dark for her. Their teacher overheard this and decided he had had enough. He marched over and moved poor Abby away from her friends, traumatizing her. Later in the period, he moved her to the from of the class. Today, an act occurred that sets a prejudice for teachers across Canada, a prejudice that is harmful and immoral. We need your help. With just 100 signs on this petition, your social insurance number, credit card information, and your mother’s maiden name, we can get Abby back to her seat where she belongs. We need you. Abby needs you.
