Proposals and planning is underway for a new community hub and more than 200 council homes on a number of sites in Moulsecoomb, close to Hodshrove Lane.

The plans show more than several blocks of high storey flats which will be blocking out all of Moulsecoomb’s views over the city. This will also be very intrusive to all residents close by, overlooking gardens. 

With an average household owning 1.2 cars, this will mean we will have an extra 240 cars on our already busy road with cars parked on both sides. The road very rarely has spare spaces aswell as being a main and regular bus route. Hodshrove road/ lane will become a hazard to those children travelling to and from school. 
Hodshrove road already struggles with cars exceeding the speed limit due to it being used as a rat run, with no speed humps or zebra crossings near the school!
