As a visitor to Brighton I was appalled to think that the seafront was going to be disfigured by a doughnut on a stick.

A complete waste of money. Either put the proposed amount of money towards emergency services or improving the great things we already have in the city. No one wants to come here to look out of a large spinning plate on a stick style 'building'

Not only is the proposed tower an eyesore (both in its present stage of development and in the artist's impression of the finished article) it is pointless as you can already get a better view of Brighton than the tower will offer by taking a bus up almost any hill in the city.

I am signing because I agree a new pier is much more appropriate for Brighton

Ridiculous use of public money. Ridiculous project in the 1st place, out of step with the seafront in Brighton.

The financial impact study for this project grossly overstates its potential. It does not create enough jobs, or provide an impactful civic benefit. Its a novelty, something Brighton is rich in already.
