My idea is as follows;
Brighton and Hove council buys two to three beach huts on the seafront. Using a database of council tax payers, by paying your council tax you get entered into a draw to win one day at the beach huts for you and your friends and family during the spring/summer season.
By opening the huts seasonally we can all be responsible for keeping it clean when it's our turn.
This allows access to these wonderful huts for the people who Brighton who live here who shouldn't be excluded from their use due to the enormous price of purchase. They should be for the people to enjoy!
This is obviously welcome to adapt and change according to good advice from people.
