Problem
As residents of Heritage Halls, we feel gypped of our beloved yard space in between buildings 25, 29 and 30. What once was a beautiful area with walkways and spacious grass for social activities is now a forbidden zone, as construction for two new buildings is underway. The problem we as BYU students have is not a lack of space; rather, our dilemma arises from a lack of readily available Swig coke.

Solution
The solution to this problem is simple: instead of building two new unnecessary buildings, put the space and money towards the construction of a facility wherein shops and restaurants (such as Swig) may establish franchises to benefit all students. This would be more profitable to the university, and more profitable to the students residing in nearby buildings.

Personal story
If we are going to be forced to give up our beloved recreational space, we simply ask that we have some input on what it is replaced with; namely, something which will benefit all BYU students, as well as the local community in general.
