The trial of on demand BRIDJ buses in the Rose Bay, Dover Heights and Bondi areas will end on 20 December 2019.
The BRIDJ service has offered a welcome solution to limited public transport links for Bondi and Dover Heights residents to the Rose Bay ferry. Residents who have not used the service will have also benefited from BRIDJ's role in alleviating traffic and parking congestion.
We value BRIDJ's friendly drivers, flexibility and reliability and ask that Transit Sydney and Transport for NSW, with the support of Andrew Constance, Minister for Transport and Roads, continue the service beyond 20 December 2019.
Cessation of the service not only leaves residents without a vital transport connection, but casual BRIDJ drivers without a job immediately ahead of the Christmas period.
Please support the continued operation of BRIDJ in our area.
