Clean the Homeless Trash in Sacramento for Cleaner Streets

Clean the Homeless Trash in Sacramento for Cleaner Streets
Sacramento's ever growing homeless population has brought upon a major issue to our city. Almost everyone has seen it, walking or driving down the street to be interrupted by a nasty pile or smell of trash created by a homeless person or multiple. This is a major problem for our city because in many neighborhoods and towns trash created by homeless overruns the sidewalks and make it feel more like walking through a biohazard waste bin than walking on the sidewalk. We believe it is time for Bridgette Dean who is supposed to be combating our homeless crisis to step up and tackle arguably one of the worse parts of homeless presence, their trash. We would like to see her make it easy for homeless to properly dispose of their trash by enacting weekly dump spots where a homeless person can bring their trash and have it thrown away. More easily accessible trash bins for the homeless we believe also needs to happen. Areas of our city where the homeless population is high there should be trash cans that are dumped every week just like the trash at your house. Much of our homeless population live on the edge our Sacramento and American rivers freely putting their trash in our rivers polluting and contaminating our drinking source as well as a thriving underwater ecosystem. Without the help from our city cleaning homeless pollution we may see trash everywhere we go especially with the ever increasing homeless population. Please help out by signing the petition and being apart of making a beautiful city cleaner and better to live in.
