Dear Hon. Pallister 

As citizens we have done as much as we can to lessen the impact of this Covid-19 virus but the government has failed to do their part. We have followed direction of masking, sanitizing and staying home. Some even homeschooling their children to further protect their families. 

I do not agree with my tax dollars being used to pay for "covid police". Encouraging neighbors to call in on their neighbors is a waste of resources. Humans need humans. Isolation is not good for us, nor our society. Even dogs see negative consequences of isolation and I believe if this continues we will see an increase in crime. Law abiding citizens should not feel as though they are breaking the law by talking to a neighbor or visiting their essential people. It is crucial to the mental health of our society to have human contact.

The government has an obligation to educate the public and prepare for catastrophic events. Ten months in and your government has still failed to provide proper PPE and do your part in the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.  There is no time for delay....Our tax dollars should INSTEAD be spent on adequate PPE for our health care professionals. 

The highest spread of Covid-19 is happening because of the lack of proper PPE for our health care workers. This is evident by the number of deaths occurring in our old age homes that could have been prevented if effective PPE was provided. 

We say NO TO COVID POLICE and YES to adequate PPE!!
