Lets skip the time change in Manitoba

The time change in Manitoba is unnecessary. Daylight-saving time (no, it's not daylight "savings" time) was created during World War I to decrease energy use. Which has been proven untrue.
DST also increases gasoline consumption, something the petroleum industry has known since the 1930s. This is probably because evening activities increase with that extra daylight, and getting to and from those activities often requires vehicles.
Changing the clocks also causes air travel synchronization headaches, which sometimes leads to travel delays and lost revenue. It has also been documented that there are more accidents after time change. The sheer number of people impacted by DST all at once leads to some surprising associations, including a spike in heart attacks, increased numbers of work injuries, automobile accidents, suicides, and more in the days after. What is the pount of all this?
