Solution : For the school year of 2019-2020, Summer Break will begin on May 01 and conclude June 30. The school year will continue from July through August. Students will promptly start the 2020-2021 school year in September.

Students and teachers alike in Manitoba have been struggling due to the sudden closure of schools amid COVID-19 pressure.

Universities and high schools will be unable to sufficiently grade students this semester. This is due in part to the cancellation of provincial exams. Moreover, schooling from home has been problematic because of difficulty maintaining academic motivation across both the students and teachers. Combined, these issues are making it exceedingly difficult for students to enter into dream programs they would have otherwise been able to enter.

Furthermore, you must admit that excessive social distancing has put a toll on everyone's physical, mental, and emotional state. You can only imagine how hard it is on young students. 

The measures put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 have been effective, however there is a more viable solution: an Early Summer Break. This will allow a wide enough timeline to prevent COVID-19 spread, while minimizing the strain of remote working and social distancing on the students.
