SaveLakeview - Citizens Choose People Over Politics & Profit - Fix the 37 St. connections

A massive $4.5 billion commercial/industrial/residential development (bigger than Chinook & Deerfoot Meadows combined with comparable traffic expected) is being built immediately west of the Lakeview community. The planned Taza development includes removing direct access into Lakeview, building a new 3x2 lane interchange directly into the Taza development with 4 connecting roads between Tsuu Tina Parkway and the community of Lakeview along 37 St SW. We believe this WILL irrevocably and negatively affect the environmental integrity and peace of the Lakeview community. In accordance with city design standards, no other commercial / industrial development in Calgary has direct access into residential communities. Therefore, as residents we wish to have NO OPEN connecting roads between the Lakeview residential community and the Taza commercial / industrial / residential development. We want a better alternative and for the whole community to be provided with timely information and engaged in accepting a design that will give the community proper safe access while maintaining the peace and integrity of the community as its own neighborhood, separate from the Taza commercial development.
