As a graduating High School senior is is with great sadness that Governor Brian Kemp has decided to cancel the remainder of the K-12 School Year. As citizens we understand that this decision was made out of public health interests but we the undersign ask that Governor Kemp postpone his decision to cancel the remainder of the school year until April 18th, 2020. By postponing this decision the Governor and leading public health officials will have more accurate data to project the course of COVID-19. Please do not pre-maturely end the high school career of so many seniors before there is enough available data to make an informed decision.
