Right now the state of Georgia is turning into a war zone. Poverty is hitting the state hard. We feel the problem is their is not enough parental guidance and live in the homes. Due to the fact so many who live in the state of Georgia,  must work two jobs to earn a livable wage. The states minimum wage has only went up three dollars but taxes have doubled that in the same time. Raising the minimum wage,  to a livable wage would help 75% of the state. Statistics also show that rent has went up at least 40% in the sane time frame. Please sign this petition. Poverty leads to violence. If we can get Georgia above the poverty line by upping the minimum wage,  we could save lives and encourage more children to be the best version of themselves.
