As it stands the Covid-19 Corona virus has temporarily shifted things. We understand that for the safety our the people in this country we have to now be quarantined. We also understand that things have to be rearranged and postponed.

But to cancel an entire senior year after all that the hard work that the seniors have accomplished is heartbreaking.

As Governor Brian Kemp closed the rest the school year for 2020 He never addressed the seniors neither did He encourage the parents of Seniors. When I think of what my Son is currently going through. I consider how crushed he maybe. I wonder if this will affect his desire to want to further his education.

I think about my niece that is her mother's only child and has been an honor student her entire school career.

I think about prom, their senior walk, senior activities the entire experience has been snatched. I think about the additional seniors that are members of my church. How their parents are feeling after making every payment towards something that may not happen. That should be refunded immediately.

We need for the class of 2020 to be allowed to graduate this year at a later date. We need to hold those in Authority to a higher standard they have the power to make the necessary adjustments after the pandemic is over and no longer a threat.

I'm asking you to sign not just for the seniors that I know but for the seniors and parents that I don't. This is a big deal for the children and parents. Ee have got to do something about this. We cannot back down without applying pressure to those that are in Authority. If you are not in the state of Ga and you would like to fight for the seniors in your state. I recommend you create a petition and at least try to band together to make something happen for these Seniors #classof2020.

Some of these Seniors are the first in the family to graduate. Some are the first to attend college some were deemed to fail but pressed beyond the pressure and turned things around so they could walk. The deserve to have a formal rescheduled graduation ceremony. The teachers and administrators that worked effortlessly the counselors that helped to groom and shape them into adulthood deserve this moment. The Parents, Aunts, Siblings, Grandparents, God Parents etc deserve this moment.

As a mother of 7 with number 4 being I am asking you to sign this petition. I'm praying for 150,000 people to join me in my efforts to help ensure that #theclassof2020 receive what they have a right to. Please sign and forward. Thank you
