My renewal for home insurance increased 1100.00 (110%) and I am enslaved to them for 3-5 years for filing a claim.  I just came to terms with the property tax increase of 50% (935.00) on only 4 homes on my street.  Every insurance company’s main agent that I know personally, live in McMansions while I live in 1100 sq ft home. 
The insurance companies do not want to pay out anything yet they can increase your premiums to whatever they want due to legislation in Pennsylvania. We need to change this since we are forced to keep our insurance companies after filing a claim for many years. Other companies will not even cover you until you are claim free for 5 years. 
I will be losing over 2000.00 of my fixed income per year between home/auto insurance and taxes.
Please sign this petition so you can have a choice to change insurance  companies immediately if they price gauge you on renewals.
