Cheryl Wojciechowski started this petition to Brevard County School Parents

The COVID-19 cases in Brevard County are now 830 per 100,000 as of January 4, 2022.  This is much higher than the 50 per 100,000 threshold that removed the mask mandate in 2021.  Only 64% of children 5-12 are fully vaccinated.  Children in  Brevard are scheduled to go back to school on January 6, 2022 and could be exposed to this virus upon their return to school.  Much of our population, especially the immune compromised are vulnerable to this disease.  If you believe that the Brevard County School Board has the responsibility to protect students, teachers and staff, sign this petition to ask Brevard School Board members to enforce a protective mask requirement for every person indoors on school campus, even with parental opt-out, to curb the spread of COVID-19.  We want to show the Brevard School Board that the parents of Brevard support public health measures to protect their children, families and community.  As agreed before, protective mask requirements should remain in place until COVID-19 cases return to 50 cases per 100,000 people.

Please share this with your friends, family members and other groups as you see fit.
