Friends of Eton Grove Park started this petition to Brent Council (Brent Council Highways)

Brent Council and Transport for London is using the Covid19 outbreak to push through major changes to 33 of our streets in Brent. Lack of consultation, lack of information and all put forward under the guise of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTN’s) and people friendly streets. This will have “counterproductive” impact on the environment and increased pollution and funnel traffic to nearby streets.

Whilst we support the overarching objectives of reducing traffic and improving the environment, we don’t believe this proposal by Brent council is fit for purpose. We are also concerned that congestion/road blockages may cause problems for emergency service access. We have many elderly, vulnerable residents in poor health, with an increased dependency on emergency and medical services during this COVID 19 pandemic, when timely interventions can be critical.

No Consultation took place across Brent including Roads in and around such as Bacon Lane/Goldsmith Lane, Old Kenton Lane/Slough Lane, Grasmere Avenue/Glendale Gardens and many more.

As a local resident, if you’re against this massive change that is happening in Brent, please sign your name so this can be presented to Brent council. This will not only  affect Brent residents but neighbouring Harrow residents also. If you are a business please comment also as it will affect your business.
