Brandy Melville is one of the most popular teenage stores as of right now in 2019. Millions of teenage girls want to shop at this perfectly trendy and cute store, but unfortunately, most can not. Their extremely exclusive "Brandy Girl" standards, which include being skinny, tall, and white, the majority of average teen girls don't fit into this category. The average teen girl has a waist of 32.6 inches while their pants measure 24. Their largest pant size is 2 when the average is 16. Brandy claims that their one-size clothing fits most.

On another topic, Brandy's USA Instagram page struggles with including racial diversity in their pictures, despite the USA being the most diverse country in the world. The last time they posted an African-American female was October 2018, as of September 2019. An Asian female, August 2019. This leaves POC girls feeling left out, similar to the "Abercrombie & Fitch" scandal.

According to huffpost.com, a 17-year-old blogger, Justina Sharp, says “It’s an exclusivity thing: Congratulations, you fit in the clothes! Join the club. There will always be the girls who will try to squeeze into it. They’ll do whatever they can to fit in Brandy Melville.” Parents, do you want your teenage girl to develop body issues to fit into this "club"? Even if they don't shop at Brandy already, it's one of the most admired teen brands, they'll want to. Girls who already fit in the "Brandy Girl" category, do you want other girls to feel like they need to be you to feel beautiful? If you do, you're part of the problem and you can't deny it. Brandy Melville corporate, if you change your customs, you can make much more profit.

If you sign this petition, Brandy will change their ways and everyone will be able to shop and buy their style of clothes, resulting in the brand becoming inclusive and for everyone, like it should be.
