MANY companies and beauty brands worldwide test their products on animals. They are kept in labs whilst their lives are sacrificed so that companies can determine whether their products are safe.

There ARE many existing alternatives to testing on animals, which do not cause any harm to animals and do not involve any malicious, murderous or selfish acts. There are an astounding number of successful companies that are against animal testing, and use safe, alternative methods of testing. Many brands (that can even be deemed ‘cruelty-free’) also use animal products in the composition of their makeup. A couple of examples of frequently used ingredients by the makeup industry include; dead animal carcasses (tallow, in skin makeup, eye makeup products, lipsticks, etc), crushed cochineal insects (carmine, which is often found in lipsticks and eyeshadows for its pigmented red colour), ground up chicken feet and animal horns (collagen, often in skin products) and many many more. 

When even one product is bought from a corrupted brand, the company receives money and fuel to continue testing on animals, and using dead animal products in the “high-end” makeup that we put on our faces.

If we convince companies to stop this, we would have collectively made a groundbreaking impact on the beauty industry and the welfare of millions of animals. With this small, simple sacrifice, we can begin to completely reduce the funding that many of us are UNKNOWINGLY ENCOURAGING on a daily basis, which goes towards killing and destroying the lives of innocent animals.
