Near the beginning of the pandemic, in the midst of lockdowns and self quarantines, Braden Fellman Group changed how Mattress Factory Lofts residents, guests, and delivery drivers access the building. While an upgrade to electronic access is great for security, the removal of coded locks on entry doors has made for a difficult experience. Braden Fellman Group management made the decision to not install a callbox on the lobby door. This makes contactless deliveries impossible, and causes delays and headaches for delivery drivers. Often, Amazon, and other delivery drivers are unable to access the building to deliver to secure package lockers in the lobby. This door is only open during business hours. Additionally, when guests and clients visit, there is no way to buzz them in. Modern conveniences like late night and overnight deliveries are unavailable to Mattress Factory Lofts residents, yet Braden Fellman Group management continues to hike rents.
