For years on end long serving veteran Tim Mannah, previous captain of the Parramatta Eels football club and club legend has suffered continiously with our football club.

Wether it be salary cap scandals, to coaching changes, player scandals or wooden spoons, Mannah never betrayed this football club. Now, they are betraying him.

Without so much as a warning to the fans of this club, Tim Mannah has been made to play his final year in the NRL with Wentys Reserve Grade instead of being allowed to pull on the blue and gold jersey.

Further than that Tim has not been named to play in Friday 6th July's Home game against the Manly Sea Eagles. So in short, he will not be able to farewell his team, club and fans the way every club great has been able to. I cannot fathom that such a thing would be accepted by NRL fans all around the world.

I believe the least we could do, is bring him out onto the feild and let the fans say good bye. He deserves at least that. Especially since players with lower stats have been given the oportunity to start from the bench week in and week out when Tim has not.

If you agree and believe the club has made a mistake and that if Timmy can't play that they should invite him onto the feild at the start of the game to honour his great service to this club, please sign this petition and share.
