We the undersigned Request that BFC freezes the Council Tax for 2021-22, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic household incomes are at a low point due to people loosing their jobs, being furloughed and closed schools are putting additional strain on family incomes. The expected increase in CT is not affordable by vast majority of households and as BFC is continuously cutting services the projected increase is unwarranted. The Council should seek to make reductions in their own expenses instead of putting households under additional financial strain.
