For years, the school song has been a sacred part of the college assemblies. Zeal, meaning dedication or enthusiasm for something is a big part of the sacred song as we have yelled it to show our dedication to De La Salle and our faith. Now, the school have made the decision to remove the word from our sacred song, ruining the atmosphere of the song. Now, singing the school song is seen as depressing and there is no energy or atmosphere in the room. We have decided to create the petition to bring back the final verse of the school song and the word Zeal to reenergise the school community and bring back the school spirit. Please sign this petition if you would like to return the final verse and the word Zeal to the school song.
