Girls should not be allowed in Boy Scouts

The Boy Scouts of America, created in 1910, was designed to train young men to be responsible, teach them outdoor skills, and to be a leader in the community. Not long after the Boy Scouts was created, Girl Scouts was founded in 1912. The programs were created to have young men participate in Boy scouts and young women in Girl Scouts. Boy Scouts should not allow girls to join because the program is standardized for young men only. Though Boy Scouts does have a multitude of programs that are not offered in Girl Scouts, the Girl Scouts can easily create similar programs that will satisfy the girls' desires and necessities. Having girls in Boy Scouts will essentially destroy some of the only traditional values left in America. Other Co-ed scouting programs already exist, therefore any girl can join those programs. If Girl Scouts desire to be taught the same values and skills as Boy Scouts are, then the Girl Scouts should change their program to teach these values and skills. The Boy Scouts are not discriminating against girls and we just want to continue our boy-only tradition. The Boy Scouts is tight on money and accepting girls and changing the program forever is not the solution. Let's not lose one of the last traditional values of America...
