Petition Closed

I was physically assaulted by a white male employee at a Valero Gas Station in Houston, Texas on August 13, 2012 @ 9:00 PM.

I am a African American female and I do not condone violence and I should not have to be scared or pass up a location that is right by my house (though I will from now own), because of rude employees and racist antics by employees of Valero Energy Corporation.

I have created this petition, because I believe that what happened was wrong. I am also sending a letter to the Houston Police Department's Internal Affairs Division in regard to the police officer that came out on the scene and did not arrest the man that assaulted me (he let him walk away). Additionally, he did not view the video tape that documented the entire incident.

I have contacted the Valero Energy Corporation to inform them of what happened and that I will not sit back and let this happen to another human being.
