انطلاقا من ايماننا بأن المبادرات الجماعية يمكن أن يكون صداها هائلا في عملية إحقاق الحق، وأن إرساء العدل في المجتمع يستدعي مشاركة أفراد هذا المجتمع نفسه في تغيير واقعهم، ولّما كانت المقاطعة، وما زالت، من أسمى أشكال الاحتجاج على الظلم وأكثرها فعالية، ندعوكم للمشاركة في مبادرتنا لمقاطعة نظام الكفالة المجحف، وذلك عبر التوصيات التالية

 الامتناع عن اللجوء إلى مكاتب استقدام العاملات والعمال المهاجرات والمهاجرين

 

معاملة العاملات والعمال المهاجرات والمهاجرين باحترام، لطف، ورحمة، وامتناع عن الاهانات اللفظية والعنف الجسدي 

 

التبليغ عن أي نوع من الاستغلال الممارس على العاملات والعمال المهاجرات والمهاجرين

 

الحرص على دفع أجور العاملات والعمال كاملة

 

 الالتزام بالحد الأدنى للأجور المتفق عليه للعاملات المستقلات - ٥$ بالساعة إذا كان اصحاب العمل يتقاضون رواتبهم بالدولار و ٦٠٠٠٠ ل.ل. إذا كانت رواتب اصحاب  العمل بالليرة اللبنانية

 

أن تكون أفضلية التوظيف للعاملات والعمال المتواجدين أساساً في سوق العمل اللبنانية، عوضاً عن استقدام عمال جدد من الخارج من قبل الأفراد اللذين يحتاجون لمساعدة في رعاية الأطفال أو المسنين عبر مكاتب الاستقدام التي تستغل كلا العامل وصاحب العمل

 

التحفظ عن العمل القسري وذلك في الامتناع عن ابقاء العاملات والعمال المهاجرات والمهاجرين الراغبات والراغبين في الاستقال، رغماً عن ارادتهم

 

نسعى لضمان وتحصيل حقوق العاملات والعمال المهاجرات والمهاجرين وسائر العاملات والعمال في لبنان وتتمثل ب

الحق في الحد الأدنى الوطني للأجور

 

الحق في حرية التواصل والتنقل

 

الحق في الحماية

 

الحق في الطبابة والاستشفاء

 

الحق في الاحتفاظ بجواز سفرهم الخاص وأوراقهم الثبوتية

 

الحق في تشكيل الجمعيات والانضمام إلى النقابات

 

 

نظام الكفالة ليس قدراً مفروضاً

 

نتأمل مشاركتكم في اقتراح توصيات إضافية تساهم في مقاطعة هذا النظام، في إطار الحاجات الملموسة لهذه الفئة من مجتمعنا

Believing that collective initiatives can have a tremendous resonance in the process of achieving equality, and that establishing justice in a society implies that all members of this society are engaged in changing their own reality, and since boycotting has been, and still is, one of the loudest and most effective forms of protest against oppression, we invite you to participate in our initiative to boycott the unfair Kafala System, through the following recommendations:

Refraining from resorting to recruitment agencies for migrant workers
Treating migrant workers with respect, kindness, and compassion, and refraining from verbal insults and physical violence
Reporting any kind of exploitation practiced against migrant workers
Ensuring that workers are paid in full
Committing to the agreed minimum wage for independent workers - $5 per hour if the employers’ salaries are in US dollars: , and 60,000 LBP if they are in Lebanese pound
The priority for employment should be for migrant workers who are already residing in the Lebanese Labor market, instead of recruiting new workers from abroad for assistance in children or elderly care, through recruitment offices that exploit both the worker and the employer.
Preventing forced labor, by refraining from retaining migrant workers willing and wishing to resign, against their will

Our aim is to guarantee the rights of migrant workers, in addition to all other workers in Lebanon, which are represented in the following:

The right to acquire the national minimum wage
The right to freedom of communication and transit
The right to protection and safety
The right to medical treatment and hospitalization
The right to keep their own passport and identification papers
The right to form associations and join unions
The Kafala System is not an imposed fate.

We are eager to receive your suggestions for additional recommendations that contribute in boycotting this unfair system, in the context of the actual needs of this category of our society.
