Current and former employees of the Tattered Cover Bookstore have contributed to multiple news sources in the last few months on the abuse of its staff since new management has stepped in.

The articles included below scratch the surface on the maltreatment behind Tattered Cover's doors, unbeknownst to its supportive community both in Denver and in the book industry. Since Bended Page, LLC -- led Kwame Spearman -- took over at the end of 2020, employees have been powerless to voice their concerns, resulting in the disintegration of what was once a cornerstone of Colorado culture.

We implore Coloradans and book-lovers everywhere to show your support for exploited book-workers by boycotting the Tattered Cover Bookstore until Kwame Spearman is removed completely from the company.
