Upon hearing about this casting choice in the Feb. 6th episode, I was immediately disgusted and incredibly disappointed. The fact that you would cast a convicted rapist on a show that is supposed to be fighting for justice for victims of sexual assault is astounding. As a survivor, I found that watching the show had some healing qualities by seeing the justice I was never able to get for my assault, but having this man on your show is like a violation of the trust of some of your viewers. Even if you are not a sexual assault survivor, please consider signing this petition to show support for people in your life that are survivors.

We are asking NBC to not air this episode, starring Mike Tyson, a convicted rapist. Upon hearing about this casting choice in the Feb. 6th episode, your viewers were disgusted and incredibly disappointed. The fact that you would cast a convicted rapist on a show that is supposed to be fighting for justice for victims of sexual assault is astounding. Having this man on your show is a violation of the trust of of your viewers. You were, intentionally or unintentionally, a voice for victims and survivors and you have an important responsibility to watch what you condone with your show. For us viewers who are not sexual assault survivors, we are signing this petition to show support for people in our lives that are survivors or victims. The amount of time passed does not make someone less of a rapist. The victims of sexual assault are affected for life, not just the length of a jail sentence. Shame on you.
