--"Thinking about traveling to Arizona anytime soon? We've got a better idea: Stay home," says Maryann Sinclair Slutsky, director of Long Island Wins.
In light of a recently passed anti-immigrant bill in Arizona--which will force immigrants to carry documentation of their immigration status at all times, and invite racial profiling by police--Long Island Wins is joining a nationwide call for a boycott of the state's goods, services, and tourism.
Sign this petition calling for a boycott of Arizona's goods, services, and tourism until the bill, SB 1070, is defeated.

The bill, SB 1070, poses a serious threat to the constitutional rights of Arizona residents, and anyone else still willing to visit the state.
Police work in Arizona will surely suffer if this bill is enforced, and immigrant communities will be further pushed into the shadows.
In addition, the business repercussions will be weighty. Already, it appears that national and international businesses plan to avoid working with Arizona, for both ethical and practical reasons.
If you don't already oppose the bill, I'm asking you to take a stand against it now.
If you already oppose the bill, I hope that you will continue to make your voice heard in the struggle to defeat it.
