As a Boy Scout I know that adding girls to the Boy Scouting/Cub Scouting program will not be a good idea.
There is a certain sense of comfort by being around other guys and talking, having fun, working together, and being Boy Scouts. Boy Scouts wasn’t meant to be for girls and if girls want something like it, let them have their OWN program but don’t ruin it for all the teenage boys that meet once a week (and campouts) to be boy scouts.
By letting girls in Boy Scouts, this sense of belonging will be lost and so will the conversation between the scouts. Talking to 100 boys is much different than talking to 99 boys and 1 girl.
All boys can relate to this and agree. And when all Boy Scouts, their parents, and leaders come together, we can change what the BSA administration wants.
So please sign if your are: current of past Boy Scout, Parent of current or past Boy Scout, current or past scout leader, or any other male who believes they have a connection to the program
"What you believe will be done for you." (Matt. 8:13)
