Thousands of Girls Joining Boy Scouts - End Discrimination Against Young Women

Sydney Ireland
New York, NY, United States

May 1, 2018 — Yesterday, we received the below Now This Her link highlighting girls in Scouting, sent by our friend and supporter Steve at Living Maths in South Africa, where Scouting is coed and Sydney is an honorary member. While girls ages 5-10 are allowed in the Boy Scouts, why does the Boy Scouts still discriminate against young women ages 11-18? How will young American women be able to join Troops and attend the 2019 World Jamboree in West Virginia? Young women from other countries will attend the World Jamboree with their Troops. Why not American women?

By the way, Steve has a powerful math and science program for kids and featured Sydney on one of his episodes last year. http://www.livingmaths.com/

Please tell #ATT CEO, Boy Scout President Randall Stephenson and the other Scout leaders, we should not wait one more day to offer excellent Boy Scouts training to young women. Let's welcome young women to join the Boy Scouts - NOW, today!

Please write AT&T CEO-Boy Scout President Randall Stephenson and respectfully request that he allow young women to join welcoming Troops, NOW!
