Lockers for the Homeless in Bournemouth and Poole to stop rough sleepers losing everything

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

We would like to see Lockers provided in Bournemouth, Boscombe and Poole for our Rough Sleepers to be able to store their belongings to stop them being stolen or cleared away. This project has been rolled out in other towns and cities across the world and has had a very positive impact. The lockers can be used to store sleeping bags and duvets during the day and also extra clothing and toiletries for when they are needed. A letter box can also be incorporated into the locker, providing them with a postal address.

With it being in the news so much recently about Rough Sleepers freezing to death after having all their bedding removed. This would provide a very simple answer to an ongoing problem.

Recently £3000 was spent on bars to stop them sleeping on benches. This would be money spent on a positive approach to our Homeless issue.
