Ban powered water craft from the shoreline 365 days a year at Bournemouth beaches
This petition had 266 supporters
To extend the ban on all powered water craft within 200m of the shoreline, to 365 days a year. To be enforcable and enforced by the local authority, RNLI in season, Maritime and Coastguard Agency and maritime police. Local surfers, kayakers and other water users are being placed in real danger of serious injury or death, due to the totally irresponsible use of powered watercraft in close proximity to other water users. This had created serious friction between users of powered watercraft and other water users. The vast majority of powered water craft users are responsible and show care and consideration in the water. Unfortunately due to serious safety concerns caused by a handful of irresponsible individuals, I have no choice but to start this petition.
